THE SMOKE PIT

The Smoke Pit is the flagship live broadcast and media operation of 50501 Veterans — a veteran-led civic organization — produced and operated by Crayon Eater Media.

The show is a structured, live broadcast environment built for direct, high-trust conversations among veterans and guests. It airs twice weekly — Wednesdays for pillar-driven programming anchored to 50501 Veterans' national framework, and Saturdays for news cycle and community-driven content.

Each broadcast runs two hours. The first hour is the Main Event — structured interviews, roundtable discussions, field reports from the front lines of veteran advocacy, and candidate interviews. The second hour is the Community Hour — audience interaction, member field reports, a forward-looking action segment, and The Safety Brief, a signature closing segment that ends every show on a laugh.

CEM manages full production operations: live broadcast across YouTube, Twitch, and additional platforms; post-broadcast clip extraction and social distribution; podcast production and publishing; and guest pipeline coordination.
